Without a shadow of doubt when it comes to shoes the average female is addicted to buying as many pairs as possible and normally wearing them once before storing them in the bottom of wardrobes etc. Although In my experience some women try to wear them all at once which is obviously impossible but leads to houses being strewn with shoes from top to bottom. I would guess that if all of the discarded shoes in England were rounded up and sent to the third world there would be more than enough pairs to go round.
